Definitions
Hotel Four Stories: The hotel located at Gevers Deynootweg 1284, 2586 HP The Hague, registered with the Kamer van Koophandel.
Guest: The natural person or legal entity who places a reservation at Hotel Four Stories.
Agreement: Any arrangement between Hotel Four Stories and the Guest regarding the reservation, the stay, or additional services.
Applicability
These general conditions apply to all reservations, agreements, and services of Hotel Four Stories. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing. General conditions of the Guest are expressly rejected.
Reservations and Agreements
Reservations are only final after confirmation by email from Hotel Four Stories. The hotel reserves the right to refuse reservations in cases of force majeure, incorrect information, or other valid reasons. Offers are subject to availability.
Prices and Payments
All rates include VAT unless otherwise stated. The price depends on the room type, length of stay, and any additional services. Payment is made at the time of reservation or at the latest upon check-in, unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may result in cancellation of the reservation.
Cancellation and Modification
The Guest may cancel or modify free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival (unless otherwise specified for a specific booking rate). In case of cancellation within 48 hours before arrival or a no-show, Hotel Four Stories reserves the right to charge 100% of the first night's stay. Different conditions apply for special offers or non-refundable rates.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: by 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out is possible upon request and subject to availability.
Liability
Hotel Four Stories is only liable for direct damage resulting from demonstrable shortcomings in the service. Liability is limited to the amount of the stay. The hotel is not liable for indirect damages, loss of property, or consequential damage.
House Rules and Behavior
Guests are required to adhere to the house rules of Hotel Four Stories during their stay. In case of disturbance, damage, or misconduct, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the agreement and charge any costs incurred.
Force Majeure
Hotel Four Stories is not obliged to fulfill its obligations in the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, government measures, technical failures, or staff shortages. In such cases, the agreement may be suspended or canceled without compensation.
Complaints and Disputes
Complaints must be reported in writing as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after departure via hotel@fourstories.nl. Hotel Four Stories will address the complaint as soon as possible. Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in The Hague.
Changes to the General Conditions
Hotel Four Stories reserves the right to change these conditions. The most current version is always available on our website.
