Definitions

Hotel Four Stories: The hotel located at Gevers Deynootweg 1284, 2586 HP Den Haag, registered with the Chamber of Commerce.

Guest: The natural person or legal entity making a reservation at Hotel Four Stories.

Agreement: Any arrangement between Hotel Four Stories and the Guest regarding the reservation, stay, or additional services.

Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations, agreements, and services of Hotel Four Stories. Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing. The guest's general terms and conditions are expressly rejected.

Reservations and agreements

Reservations are only finalized after confirmation by email from Hotel Four Stories. The hotel reserves the right to refuse reservations in cases of force majeure, incorrect information, or other valid reasons. Offers are valid while stocks last.

Prices and payments

All rates are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. The price depends on the room type, length of stay, and any extra services. Payment is made at reservation or at the latest upon check-in, unless otherwise agreed. In case of late payment, the reservation may be canceled.

Cancellation and modification

The Guest can cancel or modify free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival (unless stated otherwise for a specific booking rate). In case of cancellation within 48 hours before arrival or in the event of a no-show, Hotel Four Stories is entitled to charge 100% of the first night's cost. Different conditions apply to special offers or non-refundable rates.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM.

Check-out should be done before 11:00 AM.

Early check-in or late check-out is available upon request and subject to availability.

Late check-out offer: For just €15,- you can extend your stay until 1:00 PM instead of 11:00 AM. This offer is available when booking or upon request at the reception and is confirmed based on availability.

Liability

Hotel Four Stories is only liable for direct damages resulting from demonstrable shortcomings in the service. This liability is limited to the amount of the stay. The hotel is not liable for indirect damage, loss of guest property, or consequential damage.

The Guest is liable for loss, damage, or theft of hotel inventory. If Hotel Four Stories finds that hotel property has been damaged or taken, it reserves the right to charge the associated replacement or repair costs.

House rules and behavior

Guests must adhere to the house rules of Hotel Four Stories during their stay. In case of nuisance, damage, or misconduct, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the agreement and charge any costs.

Force majeure

Hotel Four Stories is not obliged to fulfill its obligations in the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, government measures, technical failures, or staff shortages. In such cases, the agreement may be suspended or canceled without compensation.

Complaints and disputes

Complaints should be reported as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after departure in writing to hotel@fourstories.nl. Hotel Four Stories will handle the complaint as soon as possible. Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in The Hague.

Amendments to the general terms and conditions

Hotel Four Stories reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The most current version is always available on our website.
