Fire Safety
Our hotel is equipped with a certified fire detection and evacuation system.
In case of fire or smoke development:
1. Stay calm.
2. Immediately alert the reception or call the emergency number provided in your room.
3. Leave the building through the nearest emergency exit—follow the green signs.
4. Never use the elevator during a fire.
Smoke detectors and sprinklers are present in every room and hallway. It is prohibited to block, remove, or cover them.
Open flames, candles, incense, and smoking are not allowed anywhere in the building, unless explicit permission is given.
Emergency Exits and Escape Routes
The emergency exits are clearly marked on each floor.
Refer to the evacuation plan attached to the inside of your room door.
Keep corridors, stairwells, and emergency exits free of obstacles at all times.
In case of evacuation, follow the staff or the designated escape route signs (green signs).
General Safety Guidelines
Upon arrival, read the safety instructions available in your room.
Report any malfunctions or damage to safety devices, such as emergency lighting or smoke detectors, directly to the reception.
Immediately report suspicious situations or individuals to the reception or local police (emergency: 112).
Keep your room door closed and locked when you leave the room.
Do not leave valuables unattended; use the safe in your room if available.
In Case of Emergency
In case of a general alarm, follow the staff's instructions.
In a medical emergency, call 112 and inform the reception to guide the emergency services.
The evacuation point is located outside the building, at the assembly point near the main entrance.
Specific to Scheveningen
In case of a storm or high water, follow the directions of local authorities and hotel staff.
The beach and boulevard may be closed during extreme weather; adhere to safety notices and follow hotel instructions.
